Small Mouth Bass
Rice Lake offers an ideal fishing experience with abundant waters and easy accessibility from Rice Lake Retreat.

A shallow lake, at a max depth of 27 ft, Rice Lake produces the most fish per acre of any lake in Ontario. The fish found at Rice Lake consist of large bass, walleye (pickerel), muskie (muskellunge), carp and pan-fish including perch, bluegill, sunfish, and crappie.

At Rice lake Retreat fishing is available right from the docks or from the water with a boat of one’s choice. Rice Lake is one of the largest lakes in Ontario at approximately 37 kilometers long and 4.8 kilometers across,  meaning there is no shortage of area for willing fishers to explore.
